Therapeutic Bodywork, Health Information, & Education.
Throughout my career, I’ve been guided by a single thread: helping people understand and care for their bodies. As a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1997, I work hands-on with clients to address pain, restore movement, and support overall well-being through therapeutic bodywork and Structural Integration. But my interest in body literacy has never stopped at the treatment table.
Earning my Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida deepened my commitment to a different kind of healing — the kind that comes from access to good information. Whether working with clients who want to better understand their own conditions, colleagues navigating the research behind their practice, or members of the public trying to make sense of conflicting health claims, I believe that finding, evaluating, and applying trustworthy health information is its own form of empowerment. On this site you’ll find my professional background, reflections on bodywork and health literacy, and resources for anyone curious about the intersection of therapeutic practice and informed self-care.
Though I am no longer working as a librarian I am still providing guidance for any who need it on locating, accessing, and evaluating information.
